The Lions Club of Brighton has continued to assist many in the community through our regular service activities and projects.
Just this weekend we had many members out in the community working hard to meet needs. On Saturday four of our members made the trip north to Symmons Plains Raceway to assist with ticket sales for Drifting Tasmania and each worked for 6 – 7 hours. On Sunday we had many members at our regular BBQ at the Brighton Community Market. Here our members help to set up and pack up the market each month as well as provide food for the patrons.
We are always looking for opportunities to assist the community and are more than willing to help where we can. If you know of a project that you think the Lions might be able to assist with then please feel free to contact us and let us know about it.
Don’t forget that the Lions Club of Brighton could always use ‘two more hands’ so please let us know if you are interested in hearing more about Lions.
